Creative place strategy.

I believe

Incredible places are not limited by our imagination, they fall short because strategy is hard work and requires commitment, belief, and relentlessness.

It only works if you do.

What actually happens in setting place strategy?

A large digital screen displays an image of a bike lock with text that says 'PLACE R' followed by part of the word 'RO' and more letters obscured. A man with a tattoo on his arm and wearing a black shirt stands next to the screen, with his hand behind his head.

Aerial view of development in Melbourne.

The team at Keyton briefed me on a new acquisition in Vermont South, Melbourne and wanted to create a truly special place that spoke to their values and incorporated the heritage of the infill site.
I worked with the team and created a series of bespoke workshops, delivering a place blueprint to guide the team and their consultants.
Following the success of the place visioning the team briefed me to find a name befitting of the vision, and using my proprietary methodology I presented a short list including VerSo Place, a modern interpretation of VERmont and SOuth.

I was briefed by the team at Parkside in Townsville to help reposition their project portfolio and land division.
I facilitated workshops with their team and consultants to position their projects in the competitive market, and then delivered new identities, messaging, copywriting, sales centre design, and a new website.
